Why Hemp?

Hemp has been around longer than people as we know them now have been. It was used medicinally throughout the ages for its abilities. Hemp belongs to the same family as Marijuana with subtle differences. Hemp traditionally has a much lower percentage of Delta 9 THC than its more famous cousin. However even with that difference the plant offers us so much in the way of Cannabinoids that can be tailored to your individual desires. These beneficial compounds can be seen from different types of CBD produced. All the way to various THC compounds that can help the refined stoner tailor the “high” they are chasing.

On a more pragmatic note, Marijuana is still federally illegal, even if certain states have decriminalized it. However, thanks to the farm bill of 2018, hemp products even those containing intoxicants are federally legal. This translates to less restrictions and oversight by both federal and state governments. For instance, under the new Missouri law for recreational Marijuana, a person can only have 3 ounces of flower. For hemp products there is no restriction in the amount of flower one can posses. Also since Marijuana is till illegal on the federal level, dispensaries cannot use credit card or debit card transactions. It must all be in cash. Once again, hemp has no such restriction.
